About our chocolate fish

What is a chocolate fish?

A chocolate fish is a New Zealand classic: a fish-shaped piece of soft marshmallow covered in chocolate. Kiwis have been handing them out as a reward for a job well done for generations, which is why “you deserve a chocolate fish” is a compliment here.

Why do you call them Fush?

Because that is how a lot of New Zealanders say it. Our marshmallow chocolate fish are made in Levin, in the lower North Island, and Fush felt like the honest name for a Kiwi-made chocolate fish.

What flavours do you make?

Five: raspberry marshmallow in milk chocolate (the original), peppermint in dark chocolate, pineapple in milk chocolate, espresso in milk chocolate, and raspberry in white chocolate. Each one is 35g, so it is a proper fish rather than a bite-sized one.

Where can I buy chocolate fish in New Zealand?

Right here, delivered anywhere in New Zealand, or at most New World and Woolworths supermarkets and a growing list of independent shops. Use our stockist map to find the closest one.

Are they palm oil free?

Yes. Everything we make is palm oil free, with real chocolate, natural colours and natural flavours. The marshmallow is made in our own factory in Levin.

Can I order chocolate fish in bulk or for an event?

Yes. Add as many as you like to your cart and shipping stays the same flat rate. For wholesale quantities, fundraisers or corporate gifts, head to our wholesale page or get in touch.
