Potter Brothers chocolate is made in Levin, New Zealand, and you can now pick it up in Costco-sized bags on both sides of the Tasman. Here is what to look for, and where else to find us if you are not a member.
Costco New Zealand (Westgate, Auckland)
Costco NZ stocks two Potter Brothers lines in big 450g bags. Our After Dinner Mints: the same smooth peppermint cream in dark chocolate we make for the supermarkets, just a lot more of it. And our Salted Caramels: proper chewy caramel with Himalayan pink salt dissolved right through the caramel rather than sprinkled on top, so every bite is evenly salted, covered in creamy milk chocolate. Like all our caramels, they are made with real New Zealand milk and cream. Look for the Potter Brothers logo in the confectionery aisle.
Costco Australia
Our chewy Himalayan pink salt Salted Caramels are on their way to every Costco warehouse in Australia and should be on the shelves by mid-November 2026. They are the first Potter Brothers line to go into Costco Australia, so if you spot them, we would love a photo on Instagram.

Questions people ask
Is Potter Brothers chocolate made in New Zealand?
Yes. Everything is made in small batches in our own factory in Levin, in the lower North Island, using real chocolate and no palm oil.
Are the Costco packs the same chocolate as the supermarket packs?
Same recipes, same factory, same chocolate. The Costco bags are simply bigger, which makes them the best value if you have a family of chocolate fans or a staffroom to keep happy.
Are the Costco Salted Caramels the same as the ones in Assorted Delights?
Close cousins, not twins. The 450g Costco bag is our chewy caramel with Himalayan pink salt blended through the caramel. The salted caramel in our Assorted Delights bag is a softer version of the same recipe.
